Conceptual Pavilion Work - The Nest
Concept - The design focuses on an expansive, circular structure that mimics the enveloping shape of a bird’s nest. This form naturally encourages a sense of enclosure without confinement, allowing for a generous open space within the center. The inclusion of a central garden envisioned as a symbolic tree cradling an egg, not only enhances the biophilic element of the design but also serves as a focal point that grounds the space and invites communal interaction.
Spatial Dynamics - The circular layout promotes seamless movement around the central garden, facilitating a fluid interaction between the occupants and their environment. The garden, acting as a serene core, offers a visual and atmospheric contrast to the surrounding activity, providing a quiet zone where individuals can retreat to enjoy solitude or contemplation amidst the gentle background buzz of public discourse.
